Journal of Innovative Teaching Practices (JITP)
Where Great Teaching Research Meets a Global Audience
Educational practices are evolving faster than even many journals can capture. This journal, JITP, was designed specifically for such rapid evolution – a place to publish research not merely describing the evolution of teaching, but also influencing its future.
About the Journal
Journal of Innovative Teaching Practices (JITP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal featuring research that disrupts how teaching and learning occur – in classrooms, on campuses, through online programs, and everywhere in between. We bridge researchers, educators, instructional designers, and policymakers by providing innovative solutions to advance education, not simply discuss advancing education. From exploring new pedagogies to digital learning environments, from curriculum design to assessment futures, JITP provides the forum for your work, with peer review and a global audience.
Why JITP Exists
Teaching has transcended the limits of the classroom. Teachers are now combining technology, active learning, artificial intelligence, collaboration, and design to create learning experiences that actually work for different students, in different contexts, with different goals
The aim of JITP is to provide a forum for publishing the research that has gone into making such a change. It is not only the research that has already been proven but the new developments as well. Theoretical concepts that can be tested in the classroom are of particular interest.
We encourage projects that combine different fields such as education and psychology, technology, health care, management, and social sciences because such an interdisciplinary approach is more conducive to important developments in teaching and is harder to publish.
We also have the advantage of being completely open access journals, which means that all the articles published in them are available for free from the moment of their release.
